"Well, it was a tale of two halves for sure today. I thought we were sleep walking there in the first half. Frustrated on both sides of the ball, both offensively and defensively with our group. But we got some things ironed out in the second half. I thought you were able to see a different team in the second half. Our aggression and competitive spirt picked up. Everything heightened after half time. One thing I think we continue to find out and we will need more of as we go throughout the season is Ali Patberg being super confident and super aggressive offensively. I think that it does something for her teammates. Obviously when she can get rolling and going and is confident the way she was to start the second half, it does something for our basketball team. As a leader and a veteran of this group that is what you want. That was great to see. I haven't looked hard at the stat sheet just to see numbers and who scored what, but I thought in the second half we shared the ball better. The shots that weren't going down in the first half found their way into the hoop, so that was some really good stuff in the effort of the game. We shot 61 percent for the game, and after that first quarter I would not have guessed we would be able to score the ball the way we did throughout the rest of the game. Great for our kids, especially in the second half to wake up and figure it out. I'm happy that they responded the way they did."
