- Sophomore guard Jaelynn Penn once again led the way for the Hoosiers against Minnesota, scoring her 11th straight game in double figures with 18 points. Penn is averaging 16.5 points per game in Big Ten action this season.
- Indiana is playing its third game in four outings on the road on Monday and are in a stretch of four of five away from home. It will also travel back to the state of Michigan to Ann Arbor to face the Michigan Wolverines on Thursday night.
- The Hoosiers have now won three-straight games over the Spartans dating back to the last time they visited East Lansing on Jan. 20, 2018. IU won the first meeting this season in a 68-64 win at home on Jan. 6. The three-game win streak is the longest in the series over Michigan State since it won four games from 2000-02.
