KEY MOMENTS
- Freshman guard Grace Berger had six points at the media timeout in the first quarter with IU (17-8, 6-7 B1G) leading 10-7, but in what would be a game of runs, the Spartans would go on a 7-0 run with 1:49 to play. Berger would hit a jumper with just over a minute and a half to play as Indiana wouldn't score for the rest of the quarter with MSU (17-6, 7-5 B1G) going up 18-14.
- In the second, Wise hit a 3-pointer with 4:42 to play to bring her team within one, 25-24. But MSU sparked an 8-0 run after that for its largest lead of the half, 33-24. However, the Hoosiers were fueled by a 6-0 run of their own with a three from sophomore guard Jaelynn Penn and a pair at the line from Berger to cut it to 33-30 at the half.
- Coming out to start the third, a Wise 3-pointer helped take a brief lead but another Spartan run, this time a 7-0 advantage, pushed their lead to as many as nine with five minutes left in the frame. Michigan State would stretch its lead out to ten to end the third, 55-45, and outscored the Hoosiers 22-15 in the fourth to close it out.
