Michigan has won four straight heading in to the Valentine's Day matchup. They are 10-1 at home this season, their only loss to Michigan State. Forward and Big Ten Freshman of the Week Naz Hillmon leads the way with 13.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. Senior center Hallie Thome adds 12.2 ppg. while senior guard Nicole Munger averages 10.2 points per game. U-M is averaging 72.5 points per game and shooting 44.5 percent.

- Indiana is playing its second game of the week in the state of Michigan, coming off a 77-61 loss at No. 24 Michigan State on Monday night.
- Sophomore guard Jaelynn Penn leads the way for the Hoosiers, holding a 13-game streak of double figure scoring. The Louisville, Ky. native scored a team-high 19 points against the Spartans and averages 16.7 points in league play this year. Overall, she's averaging 14.0 points per contest while shooting 42.3 percent from the floor and has a team-high 41 3-pointers made.
- Sophomore guard Bendu Yeaney has also recorded back-to-back double figure scoring game with 12 points each against Minnesota and Maryland. It marked her sixth game in eight outing she's scored in double figures and adds 9.9 points per game this season.
- Michigan and Indiana meet for the second time this season. The home team has won the last six games in the series as the Hoosiers took the first meeting at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, 70-60, on Jan. 24. Overall, IU leads the series 45-28 but haven't won on the road against the Wolverines since 2009.
