Postgame Notes
- Indiana defeated its third ranked team (No. 24 Marquette, No. 6 Michigan State, No. 19 Wisconsin) this season.
- The Hoosiers beat Wisconsin for the first time since Jan. 5, 2016 (59-58 W in Bloomington. It marks the third time in four games at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall since 2014, IU won 75-72 in 2014 and 59-58 in 2016. UW had won the previous five meetings in the series including a 75-68 win in Bloomington in 2017.
- Indiana saw two straight overtime games for the first time since 1999 where they lost to Purdue (Feb. 9.) 86-81 and beat Northwestern (Feb. 13) on the road, 69-62.
- The last time the Hoosiers went to double overtime was last season against Ohio State. The Buckeyes went on to win, 80-78.
- Indiana's largest lead of the night was 13, making the game 47-34 with 12:40 left in the second half.
- Indiana outrebounded Wisconsin, 46-40.
- Four Hoosiers saw double figures, Langford (22), Smith (12), Durham (11), Phinisee (11).
- Freshman guard Romeo Langford led the Hoosiers in scoring with 22 points. He also added seven rebounds and two assists. Langford scored the game winning layup with 0.7 seconds left in double OT.
- Senior forward Juwan Morgan recorded his 23rd double digit rebounding game with a career high 15 rebounds. He also scored nine points to move up to No. 33 on the all-time scoring list. The Waynesville, Mo. native was +20 when on the floor.
- Sophomore forward Justin Smith saw double figures with 12 points while grabbing six rebounds.
- Freshman guard Rob Phinisee was in double figures for the sixth time this season with 11 points. He also added four rebounds and four assists. Phinisee is averaging 12 points per game.
- Sophomore guard Al Durham had 11 points and tallied one rebound and one assist.
- Redshirt freshman forward Race Thompson had a career high in rebounds with seven.
- Junior forward De'Ron Davis tallied six points and grabbed three rebounds. He was scheduled to start but was replaced with Justin Smith due to illness prior to tip off.
- Junior guard Devonte Green knocked down a 3-pointer while notching a rebound and an assist.
- Redshirt senior forward Evan Fitzner played two minutes.
- Redshirt senior Zach McRoberts played five minutes.
