
Hoosiers Host Minnesota In Celebrating Black Culture Game

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Hoosiers return to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall for a Wednesday night matchup with Minnesota. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on BTN Plus. The game will honor Celebrating Black Culture as the Hoosiers will wear alternate jerseys to honor the Harlem Renaissance Movement of the early 20th Century and its impact on the African-American community and the sport of basketball.

- Indiana will wear special alternative jerseys in honor of Celebrating Black Culture as part of the Adidas Harlem Renaissance collection. The uniforms honor the Harlem Renaissance Movement of the early 20th Century and its impact on the African-American community and the sport of basketball.
- In a pregame ceremony, the Hoosiers will honor the legacy of Kay Burrus, who started the university's first extramural women's basketball (1962-66) and field hockey (1962-1976) teams.
- IU returns home after two games on the road, most recently defeating Nebraska, 82-78, in Lincoln on Sunday. They were led by three players in double figures behind 22 points from redshirt junior guard Ali Patberg. Sophomore guard Jaelynn Penn also added 20 points and senior forward Kym Royster added a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds.
- Three players average double figures for Indiana behind Patberg's 15.7 points per game, which is sixth in the Big Ten. Penn (13.7 ppg.) and redshirt junior forward Brenna Wise (12.7 ppg.) also hold double figure averages this season.
- Minnesota comes to Bloomington after upsetting No. 17 Rutgers at home on Sunday, 60-46. Former WNBA star and Minnesota alum Lindsay Whalen is in her first season with the Gophers.
