KEY MOMENTS

- Indiana would go on to outscore the Boilermakers, 22-9, in the second quarter as an 11-0 run closed out the frame. Yeaney's reverse layup led the Hoosiers into the break with a 43-22 lead.
- It was all Indiana again in the third quarter, again holding Purdue to under 10 points and winning the quarter 19-9. Sophomore guard Jaelynn Penn scored seven of her 13 points as the lead grew to as many as 33 with 1:32 to go.

QUOTABLE
Indiana head coach Teri Moren
"First of all, I would just like to acknowledge our crowd this afternoon. What a special way to recognize Kym Royster and Grace Withrow, our seniors, with a tremendous crowd. The energy and excitement for the game was great. The ovation and the cheering that they did for those two ladies, I thought was very special from the beginning. Very grateful and thankful that we have Hoosier Nation that shows up. They do what they do, and that energizes us. I am really grateful for that. I thought the first half of the game was one of our best halves, where we played our best basketball. We scored and stayed out of foul trouble. I also thought we guarded really well. There in the second half, one of the keys was not putting them on the free-throw line, I thought especially in the third. With (Ae'Rinna) Harris, we put them on the free throw line too much. Overall, I am really pleased. I thought we got to play a lot of people today. On a day where Jaelynn (Penn) tweaked her ankle a little bit, we were able to save her and put her on the bench to rest a little bit. Bendu Yeaney was incredible, as far as almost getting a triple-double. Obviously, she was chasing around (Karissa) McLaughlin, handling the ball, and scoring. She had that tip-in. I thought that was probably the highlight of the game. The way she asserts herself and imposes her will when she gets a smaller guard on her. Her decision making was really good today. I thought Grace Berger came in and gave us great minutes as well. Again, this ball team seems to feed off of Ali Patberg. I will say it, and continue to say it, when Ali Patberg plays well and hits her shots, we are a different basketball team. I am not afraid to say that because if it's one thing that they can handle, it is that type of pressure. The way Ali came out and handled herself today, I thought was a special performance. I'm really happy with our group. I'm proud of the way they are sending seniors, Kym and Grace out on a really high note in terms of getting to play in The Hall. Two years for Grace and four years for Kym Royster, so really pleased how we bounced back after an awful performance at Northwestern the other day."
