HEAD COACH SHONDA STANTON
"We started strong in game one and would have liked to continue to put the pressure on offensively to get some more work out of our great pitching staff. In game two, we we're hitting them hard but it was a case of the 'at-ems' and we were hitting it right at them. But it was nice to see us get in a tight ballgame, make the plays when we needed them, get the big pitches when needed the big pitches and clutch up. Ferrari started it with the single and stolen base then Gabbi clutched up.
Tara again had another great day and Goodin gave us some really solid innings. It was fun to see Brittany Ford get her first hit and RBI. What's fun about this group is we are seeing different people clutching up and coming up big."
