BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's tennis team came up short against Northwestern as they fell 5-2 against the No. 13 Wildcats on Saturday at the IU Tennis Center.

The Hoosiers (10-6, 1-1) dropped the doubles point as Northwestern (8-5, 2-0) won at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.

The Wildcats went up 2-0 in the match, but then Michelle McKamey put Indiana on the board with a 6-3, 6-4 win.

Northwestern would take matches at No. 1 singles and No. 6 singles to clinch the match.

Senior Natalie Whalen added a point for the Hoosiers with a 6-1, 1-6, 6-3 win. Whalen went 2-0 in singles on the weekend.

Up next the Hoosiers will take a spring break trip to Hawaii, where they will square off against Hawaii on March 14 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
