• Freshman Mitch Davis opened the Hawkeye Invitational with his best score of the season – a 3-under 68. He followed with a 72 in round two and is tied for 19^th at 2 under par after 36 holes.

• Davis recorded 27 pars over the first two rounds, the second-most in the field.

• In round one, Davis had four birdies and just one bogey. He opened the round by posting par on his first nine holes before three birdies in five holes.

• Junior Brock Ochsenreiter is tied for 33^rd at 1-over par. He began the tournament with a 1-under round of 70 with four birdies and three bogeys. Then in round two, he was even on his round until back-to-back bogeys to close the round at 2-over 73.

• Sophomore Ethan Shepherd is tied for 43^rd at 3-over par following rounds of 73 and 72. He had a double bogey in each round that offset what could have been a better score.

• Senior Jake Brown joins Shepherd in a tie for 43^rd after opening with a 72 and then following that up with a 73 in round two.

• Junior Evan Gaesser posted scores of 75 and 74 to tie for 63^rd at 7-over par.
