Antonio Cembellin Earns All-Big Ten Honors

Rosemont, Ill. – Indiana men's tennis senior Antonio Cembellin was selected by the Big Ten coaches to the All-Big Ten First Team, it was announced by the league office on Thursday. Freshman Vikash Singh was IU's Big Ten Sportsmanship honoree.
Cembellin is the first Hoosier to appear on the First Team since Sam Monette in 2016. Last season, Raheel Manji was selected to the Second Team.
In his senior season, the Avila, Spain native has a 23-10 overall singles record and a 13-6 singles mark in dual play. Facing Big Ten opponents, Cembellin has six wins, all coming at the No. 1 singles spot.
Ranked singles wins in the Big Ten for Cembellin have come against No. 46 Mattias Siimar (MICH) and No. 114 Toby Boyer (NEB).
In doubles, Cembellin has four wins on the spring season, three coming against conference opponents.
The No. 5 seed Hoosiers play the No. 12 seed Michigan State Spartans in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament today at 10 AM.
