HEAD COACH SHONDA STANTON
"They got off to a fast start then we didn't do enough defensively to help our pitching staff. We made some mistakes that cost us and offensively, we needed more production. It was nice to see Maddie get another bomb so we had some moments.
We can dig deep and maybe the overall results in Big Ten play aren't where we want them to be, but let's look at all these moments. We're going to put them together in one weekend. We haven't done that, we haven't peaked but I'm excited about where we are. Anytime you take two out of three, it's a decent weekend."
UP NEXT
Indiana closes out the 2019 regular season next weekend as the Hoosiers visit Penn State for a three-game set. First pitch of the series in Happy Valley is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. All three games will be streamed on BTN Plus.
