Williams, Harris, and Michalski Move On to NCAA National Championships

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.— Another three Hoosiers are moving on to the NCAA National Championships in Austin, Texas at the conclusion of day two at the NCAA East Regional. Cooper Williams, Kelsey Harris, and Daniel Michalski all finished in the top-12 in their respective events.
Kelsey Harris was the first to qualify for Indiana Track & Field as she earned her spot based on time. The junior will compete in her second outdoor championships in the 800m after clocking a time of 2:05.63. On the men's side, Cooper Williams will make his return to the national meet after grabbing the second fastest qualifying time with a time of 1:48.76.
Daniel Michalski rounds out the rio of Hoosiers moving on as he grabbed the second qualifying spot in the steeplechase on Friday night. The grad student clocked a time of 9:35.38.
Indiana is back in action tomorrow, Saturday, May 25 as eight Hoosiers will vie for their spot at NCAA Outdoor Championships. First up is Leah Moran in the triple jump competing at 3:00 p.m. EST.
