No. 25 Indiana Heads to Lexington for Midweek Game with Wildcats

• Nineteenth ranked Indiana travels to Illinois Field this weekend, taking on the Illinois Fighting Illini in a three-game series.
• Tuesday will be the 42nd ever meeting between IU and Kentucky. The two squads last met in Bloomington last season with the Wildcats earning a 7-6 victory.
• Kentucky leads the all-time series between the two schools, 23-18.
• Indiana Head Coach Jeff Mercer is in his first season with the Hoosiers and his 10th overall year in coaching collegiately. He has posted an 108-64 career record after leading Wright State to winning seasons in each of his two years with the Raiders, including a 2018 Horizon League title and NCAA Regional appearance.
• Kentucky head coach Nick Mingione is in his third season as head coach with the Wildcats. In his first season in 2017, the Cats' 43 wins were just two shy of the school record and the most for any first-year coach in the program's history.
• Indiana is coming off a weekend where it dropped two of three games to the Illinois Fighting Illini, but winning the Sunday game in decisive fashion, 9-2, and outscored Illinois in the series, 10-9.

• Sophomore Elijah Dunham has recorded a hit in nine of his last 10 games and has walked in seven of his last eight games.
