
No. 25 Indiana Heads to No. 19 Michigan this Weekend

• Twenty-fifth ranked Indiana travels to Ray Fisher Stadium this weekend, taking on No. 19 Michigan in a three-game series.
• Friday will be the 205th ever meeting between IU and Michigan. The two squads last met in Bloomington in 2017 during the Big Ten Tournament, with the Hoosiers taking the elimination game, 5-4, in 13 innings.
• Michigan leads the all-time series between the two schools, 132-72.
• Indiana Head Coach Jeff Mercer is in his first season with the Hoosiers and his 10th overall year in coaching collegiately. He has posted an 108-65 career record after leading Wright State to winning seasons in each of his two years with the Raiders, including
a 2018 Horizon League title and NCAA Regional appearance.
• Michigan head coach Erik Bakich is in his seventh season at Michigan and ninth season overall as a head coach. He also was an assistant at Vanderbilt (2003-09) and Clemson (2002).
• Indiana is coming off a weekend where it dropped two of three games to the Illinois Fighting Illini, but winning the Sunday game in decisive fashion, 9-2, and outscored Illinois in the series, 10-9.
