
Men's Golf Schedule Features Home Event and Major Venues

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana men's golf head coach Mike Mayer has announced the upcoming 2019-20 schedule, which features five tournaments in the fall and seven tournaments in the spring leading up to NCAA Regionals and the NCAA Championship.
The highlight of the schedule for the Hoosiers will come on April 4 when the team hosts the Hoosier Individual Collegiate at the brand new Pfau Course at Indiana University. This will be a one day, 36-hole event that will feature players competing only as individuals and no team scoring.
Other highlights of the schedule include playing on four courses that have hosted majors on the PGA Tour – Crooked Stick Golf Club, Olympia Fields Country Club, Erin Hills and Chambers Bay.

Windon Memorial | Sept. 16-17, 2019
Conway Farms GC • Lake Forest, IL
This will mark the Hoosiers 11th appearance in this tournament since 2007. The tournament is hosted by Northwestern University and draws a field of schools from across the country. Last year, Indiana finished tied for 12th out of 16 teams with current senior Brock Ochsenreiter leading IU with a T8th finish with a score of 214 at Knollwood Club.
Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational | Sept. 20-22, 2019
Olympia Fields CC • Chicago, IL
The University of Illinois has made the Olympia Fields Invitational one of the best tournaments in all of college golf, as they annually have the top teams and players in the country competing at the site of the 2020 BMW Championship on the PGA Tour. The course has also hosted two US Open's, 2 PGA Championships, 5 Western Opens, 1 U.S. Amateur Championship and the US Senior Open. This will mark the Hoosiers 11th straight appearance in the event and comes on the heels of an 11th place finish last year with Ochsenreiter pacing IU in a tie for 22nd.
Marquette Intercollegiate | Oct. 6-8, 2019
Erin Hills • Erin Hills, WI
Erin Hills, the site of the 2017 U.S. Open Championship, will host the Hoosiers first appearance in the Marquette Intercollegiate.
Crooked Stick Collegiate | Oct. 14-15, 2019
Crooked Stick GC • Carmel, IN
The Hoosiers return to Crooked Stick Golf Club once again to host an outstanding field of teams at one of the Top 100 courses in America according to Golfweek and Golf Magazine. IU last hosted at Crooked Stick in the Fall of 2017 and took home a tie for 7th place. Crooked Stick has played host to the BMW Championship as part of the FedEx Cup Playoffs in 2012 and 2016 with Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson winning in each year, respectively. It also served as host to the PGA Championship in 1991 and the U.S. Women's Open in 1993.
Steelwood Collegiate Invitational | Oct. 26-27, 2019
Steelwood CC • Loxley, AL
Indiana returns to Steelwood Country Club in Alabama for the second straight year. Indiana earned a fourth place finish out of 12 teams last year as Brock Ochsenreiter garnered runner-up medalist honors and Jake Brown tied for 22nd.
Big Ten Match Play Championship | Feb. 7-8, 2020
Hammock Beach Conservatory/Ocean Courses • Hammock Beach, FL
The Hoosiers won the in inaugural Big Ten Match Play title in 2008-09 and have won at least one match in each of the last five editions. Last year, IU opened with a loss to Michigan State before following that up with wins against Minnesota and Penn State and then closing with a loss to Rutgers. Indiana is 14-14-3 all-time in the event.
Dorado Beach Collegiate | Feb. 23-25, 2020
TPC Dorado Beach – Sugarcane Course • Dorado, Puerto Rico
The University of North Carolina Greensboro will play host to the first edition of the Dorado Beach Collegiate in Puerto Rico. The Sugarcane Course at TPC Dorado Beach is the first TPC course in Puerto Rico. The field will include regional foes like Michigan State, Louisville and Kentucky.
Redhawk Invitational | March 30-31, 2020
Chambers Bay • Seattle, WA
Chambers Bay opened for play in 2007 and played host to the 2015 U.S. Open and the U.S. Amateur in 2010. The Hoosiers played in this even last year and tied for 10th place out of 18 teams with current sophomore Harry Reynolds leading the way for IU with a T21 showing at 3-under par.
Hoosier Individual Collegiate | April 4, 2020
Pfau Course at Indiana University • Bloomington, IN
This will be a one-day, 36-hole individual tournament with no team scores being kept, as golfers compete on the brand new Pfau Course at Indiana University for the first time. The course is located on the site of the previous IU Golf Course, but the layout was completely redesigned by architect Steve Smyers.
Boilermaker Intercollegiate | April 11-12, 2020
Kampen GC • West Lafayette, IN
This will be the Hoosiers 16th appearance all-time in the Boilermaker Intercollegiate. Last year's event was shortened to just 36 holes after inclement weather forced the final round to be canceled. The Kampen Course
Kepler Intercollegiate | April 25-26, 2020
Scarlet Course • Columbus, Ohio
For the first time since 2016-17, the Hoosiers will make the drive east to Ohio State University to compete in the Kepler Intercollegiate at the Scarlet Course as the final preparation before the Big Ten Championship. Indiana has been competing off and on in this tournament dating back to the 1969-70 season.

After serving as host for the 2017 NCAA Men's and Women's National Championship, Rich Harvest Farms will welcome all 14 Big Ten men's golf teams to the challenging course.

The six regional sites are Auburn, Clemson, LSU, Michigan State, Oklahoma or San Diego.
