22 Honored with USTFCCCA All-Academic Accolades

NEW ORLEANS, La.— The U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their All-Academic honorees yesterday afternoon. 22 Indiana student-athletes were named to the list.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25, and must have finished in the top-96 of the indoor season or top-48 in the relay according to the NCAA POP list provided by TFRSS.org. The student -athlete could have also made the list if they participated in any of the NCAA Championships during the outdoor season.
This Big Ten Conference proved to be a competitive on the academic landscape. The men's 11 honorees was tied with Michigan for the most among the conference programs. ON the women's side, their 11 was the fourth most behind Nebraska (15), Minnesota (12), and Ohio State (12). The combined 22 who earned USTFCCCA accolades was the second most by a Big Ten school.
