Robert Johnson To Play Professionally Overseas in Poland

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Former Indiana standout Robert Johnson has signed a contract to play for MKS Dabrowa Górnicza in the Polish Basketball League for the 2019-20 season.
Johnson heads to Poland after playing in 47 games for the Wisconsin Herd of the NBA G-League during the 2018-19 season, averaging 7.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 20.5 minutes per game.
In his four years at Indiana, he scored 1,413 points (11.0 ppg) and shot 38.9 percent from the 3-point line while also handing out 2.7 assists and grabbing 3.8 rebounds in 129 games. He was also part of the Hoosiers 2016 Big Ten Championship team.
Johnson joins former Hoosiers Evan Fitzner (Denmark), James Blackmon Jr. (Italy), Jordan Hulls (Germany) and Will Sheehey (Germany) in signing contracts to play professionally overseas this upcoming season. Hulls and Sheehey will play for the same team - s.Oliver Würzburg.
