No. 4 Hoosiers Win Big Ten Opener Over Wisconsin

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - No. 4 Indiana Men's Soccer team defeated Wisconsin, 3-1, on Friday night in the Big Ten opener at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium.
KEY MOMENTS
• In the 10th minute, freshman Herbert Endeley was fouled in the 18-yard box, earning a penalty kick for the Hoosiers (4-0-2, 1-0-0 Big Ten). Classmate Victor Bezerra stepped to the spot for Indiana and converted the PK, giving IU the early lead.
• Wisconsin (2-5-0, 0-1-0) scored the late equalizer in the 77th minute on a header from Matthew Comiskey.
• The Hoosiers regained the lead just two minutes later in the 79th minute on a left footed shot from Daniel Munie off a corner kick. Aidan Morris and AJ Palazzolo assisted on the score.
• The insurance goal came with just 14 seconds left in the game by Maouloune Goumballe, as a breakaway from midfield secured the IU victory.

• With the victory, Indiana remains undefeated in the team's last 29 regular-season, Big Ten matches, posting a record of 20-0-9. IU's last league loss in the regular season came on Oct. 10, 2015 in overtime at Ohio State, 1-0.
