MADISON, Wis. – The Indiana volleyball team came up short on the road at No. 13 Wisconsin in a 3-1 match (20-25, 25-20, 17-25, 15-25) on Sunday at the Wisconsin Field House.

Key Moments

Wisconsin scored the first eight points of the match to go up 8-0 in the first set. The Hoosiers battled back and got to within one at 19-18.
With the second set tied 7-7, Indiana scored four straight points, three by Kendall Beerman kills, to put the Hoosiers up 11-7.
Up 23-20 in the second set Indiana got a kill from Hayden Huybers and an attack error by Wisconsin to win the second set, 25-20.
With the score tied 3-3 in the third set, Wisconsin used a 4-0 run to go up 7-3. Leading 12-9, Wisconsin reeled five straight points to go up 17-9.
Trailing 22-14, Indiana scored three straight to force a Wisconsin timeout. The Badgers scored the next three points to win the third set.
In the fourth set, Wisconsin led 10-6 and went on an 5-0 run to increase that lead to 15-6. Indiana would respond by scoring five of the next six points to get within four at 16-12.
Wisconsin made a 3-0 run to go up 21-14 and won the fourth set, 25-15.

Notables

With the loss Indiana falls to 11-4 overall and 0-2 in Big Ten play. Wisconsin improves to 6-4 overall and 2-0 in Big Ten play.
Kendall Beerman led Indiana with 11 kills in the match.
Three Hoosiers reached double-digit digs, led by Breana Edwards with a career-high 13 digs. Haley Armstrong recorded 12 digs and Emily Fitzner recorded 11 digs.
Jacqui Armer led Indiana in blocks with six. Indiana out blocked Wisconsin, 10-7.
Indiana won a set against Wisconsin for the first time since Nov. 1, 2013 and the first set at Wisconsin since Oct. 19, 2012
