Hoosiers Fall On the Road Against No. 18 Illinois

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.– The Indiana wrestling team fell against No. 18 Illinois, 32-3 on Sunday at Huff Hall.
Notes
• The Hoosiers fall to 0-3 on the season and 0-2 in the Big Ten. Illinois improved to 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the Big Ten.
• Cayden Rooks got an escape in the third period to tie it 1-1 vs. No. 8 Travis Piotrowski. Piotrowski scored in takedown in the final 10 seconds of the third period to win the decision 3-1.
• Graham Rooks, on his birthday, improved to 7-3 on the season with a 6-1 decision over Mousa Jodeh. Rooks got a takedown with five seconds left in the first period to get out to the early lead.
• Illinois had six ranked wrestlers in their lineup in the dual.
