NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Indiana Track & Field concluded the first day of the Vanderbilt Invitational which was highlighted by three Hoosiers setting new personal bests.
Alexis Hill kicked off the meet for the Hoosiers in the women's weight throw. On her fifth attempt, the Indianapolis, Ind. native secured a PR mark of 20.90m (68' 7") to capture third overall. Jenna Jungels hit a PR mark of 6.17m (20' 3") on her second attempt to place third. Adam Coulon defended his national leading mark in the pole vault by clearing another PR height of 5.60m (18' 4.5").
On the men's side of the weight throw, Nick Lane secured a distance of the 19.78m (64' 10.75") to take fourth overall.
