Hoosiers Set for Doubleheader in Alabama

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.– The Indiana women's tennis team will make its second trip to Alabama this season as they take on Alabama and UAB on Saturday Jan. 25.

Indiana will take on Alabama at 11:00 a.m. ET and then UAB at 4:00 p.m. ET in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

A look at the Crimson Tide, Blazers
Alabama is 2-0 in dual matches with wins against Kennesaw State and Alabama A&M, both 7-0 wins. UAB has a win against Central Arkansas, 4-1 and a 4-0 defeat at Auburn.

Last Time Out for the Hoosiers
This will be the Hoosiers first dual match of the season. Last week Indiana hosted their annual IU Winter Invitational. The Hoosiers exceled in several areas over the three-day event, including in doubles competition, where they recorded an overall record of 13-3 over the first four rounds of doubles competition.

2018-19 Season in Review
The Hoosiers finished 16-11 overall and 6-5 in Big Ten dual matches last season. Seniors Madison Appel and Natalie Whalen earned All-Big Ten Honors.
