BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Liam Cronin started the match with a ranked win for the Indiana wrestling team, but No. 22 Rutgers came away with a 29-7 victory on Friday.

• The Hoosiers fall to 0-5 on the season and 0-4 in the Big Ten. Rutgers improves to 7-3 overall and 3-2 in the Big Ten.
• Liam Cronin won his second straight match against a ranked opponent. Cronin beat No. 5 Devin Schroder of Purdue on Monday in Bloomington.
• Cronin get a key takedown with 1:04 remaining in the third period to propel him to the victory.
• Jacob Covaciu picked up a major decision for the Hoosiers with a 11-3 win over Willie Scott of Rutgers.
• For Covaciu it was his 14^th win of the season and his fourth major decision of the season.
