Hoosiers Come Up Short Against Vanderbilt to Close ITA Kickoff

AUSTIN, Texas – The Indiana men's tennis team fell 4-2 against Vanderbilt on Sunday to close out competition in the ITA Kickoff Weekend.
The Hoosiers (2-2) got off to a good start as they won matches at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to secure the doubles point and build a 1-0 lead in the match.
Vanderbilt put two points on the board to go up 2-1 with two singles wins, but Carson Haskins tied it 2-2 with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles.
Vanderbilt won at No. 2 doubles and clinched the match at No. 1 doubles with a 7-5 win on a second set tiebreaker.
