Meet the freshman from Gallatin, Missouri
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
On my days off, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I like to watch netflix or play xbox.
Who is one of your role models and why?
My role model is definitely my mother. She has sacrificed so much just to provide for me and my sisters and always puts us first.
Do you have any prematch rituals and if so what are they?
I always jump right before I wrestle but outside of that I don't really have any pre match rituals. I just like to be relaxed, have fun with my teammates and watch them compete.
What is your favorite wrestling memory?
My favorite wrestling memory so far was watching my teammate pin the number 2 seed at state in the quarter finals. I wrestled right after him on the same mat so I got to celebrate that with him and it was a really cool moment.
Do you have any holiday traditions with your family?
My dad hides Buddy (our elf on the shelf) every morning from Thanksgiving through Christmas. We bake cookies and get jingle jammies on Christmas Eve.
Outside of wrestling what is something you are passionate about and why?
I'm passionate about sports in general. I love competing and watching others compete.
Why did you choose to attend IU?
I chose Indiana because they provide their wrestlers with the best chance and opportunities to succeed academically and athletically. I really like the family atmosphere that comes with being apart of this team.
