Hoosiers Host UCSB, Xavier on Monday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.– The Indiana men's tennis team will host a pair of opponents on Monday as they take on UC Santa Barbara and Xavier Feb. 17 at the IU Tennis Center.

Scouting the Opponents
UCSB comes in with an overall record of 2-6 and have lost their last three matches. Two of those three came down to the last point. UCSB has wins against UNC Wilmington and Loyola Marymount. Xavier has posted an overall record of 3-3 this season. Last time out Xavier secured a 7-0 win at IUPUI.

Carson Haskins leads the Hoosiers with an 11-4 singles record, including 4-0 in dual matches. In doubles Haskins has teamed up with William Piekarsky to post an 8-3 mark.
Hoosiers Earn Herbert Cup
The Indiana men's tennis team was honored at the men's basketball game last night for earning the Herbert Cup, which goes to the IU athletics team with the highest GPA each semester.
2018-19 Season in Review
The Hoosiers finished 14-12 overall and 6-5 in Big Ten matches. Senior Antonio Cembellin earned All-Big Ten First Team Honors.
Crane Finishes Runner-Up at ITA Regional Championships
Senior Bennett Crane defeated the No. 1 seed on his way to a runner-up finish at the ITA Regional Championships. With his finish at the regional tournament, Crane qualified for the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.
