
Indiana Wins Fourth-Straight, Blasts Siena, 12-3

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University baseball team won its fourth-straight game, beating the Siena College Saints, 12-3, on Sunday afternoon at Stanky Field in Mobile, Ala. With the victory, the Hoosiers improve to 4-2 on the season, while the Saints fall to 0-7.
KEY MOMENTS
• INF Cole Barr gave the Hoosiers the lead in the bottom of the third with sacrifice fly to left field. INF Jeremy Houston set up the scoring opportunity by stealing second base and then taking third on a wild pitch.
• After DH Jake Skrine drew a bases-loaded walk, OF Hunter Jessee plated another run with an infield single.
• C Collin Hopkins capped the five-run third inning for IU with a two-run double down the left-field line.
• In the bottom of the fourth, OF Elijah Dunham launched a three-run shot way over the fence in right field for his first home run of the season.
• INF/OF Drew Ashley plated two more runs in the bottom of the sixth with a RBI single to left.
