IU Finishes Off Second-Straight Perfect Weekend

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.– Indiana Water Polo finished the Cal Lutheran Invite and finished the Invite 4-0 Saturday after getting wins against CSU Monterey Bay, 17-5, and against CSU East Bay, 17-10. The Hoosiers beat Fresno Pacific and Cal Lutheran on Friday. This is the second-straight week of playing that the Hoosiers have gone undefeated.
Leading the Hoosiers on Saturday was sophomore Izzy Mandema, who scored eight total goals and senior Megan Abarta, who scored six total goals. In the game against CSU East Bay, Mandema, Abarta, freshman Zoe Crouch and freshman Berta Pascual each recorded a hat trick.
