Parsons Leads Indiana After Two Rounds of Hurricane Invitational

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Indiana Women's Golf opened play in the Hurricane Invitational on Monday, led by junior Mary Parsons who is currently tied for 38th place after two rounds at Biltmore Golf Course.

• Parsons best round was the opener as she carded a 76, including a birdie on No. 16. In the second round, Parsons turned in a 78 and picked up another birdie on No. 15.
• Freshman Anni Eisenhut is tied for 55th after shooting a 77 and 82 respectively. Her best outing in the both rounds came on the back nine as she was one stroke better on that side in the first round and two strokes better in the second.
• Sophomore Alexis Miestowski is tied for 62nd, capping her day by improving by five strokes in the second round. She collected a birdie in each round.
• Freshman Valerie Clancy and senior Carolina Garrett are both tied for 62nd after finishing the day with a 163 total. Clancy improved her opening round score by an impressive nine strokes, carding a 77. Garrett also saw her best outing in the second round, shooting an 83 and 80, respectively.
• Senior Emma Fisher is currently 75th, with her best round coming in the opener.
