CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Indiana Women's Golf travels to Florida this week for the Hurricane Invitational, hosted by the University of Miami. The teams will compete at the Biltmore Golf Course with the first round teeing off Monday at 8 a.m.

• The tournament features eight teams ranked in the top-55 by GolfStat, including five in the top-30 in No. 9 Arizona, No. 16 Oklahoma State, No. 26 Miami, No. 28 Oklahoma, No. 30 Illinois.
• The field will play a pair of rounds on Monday, beginning with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The final round will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
• Miestowski returns to the lineup in the No. 2 spot this week. Meanwhile, senior Emma Fisher who competed as an individual last time out, makes her first appearance of the season in the team lineup in this tournament. Fellow senior Carolina Garrett is set for her second tournament of the season as she will compete in the individual spot.
Eisenhut Continuing to Impress
On the heels of her sixth-place finish at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic, Eisenhut again led the Hoosiers last week as she tied for 19th place at the Westbrook Invitational. Through 17 rounds this season, Eisenhut is averaging a 73.69 and has been part of every team event this season. Over the last six rounds, the Grunwald, Germany native has hit under or even-par (72) five times.
Parsons Named to Team Canada 2020 National Amateur Squad
Parsons is just one of four on the women's squad, which is selected based on objective performance results reviewed by a committee. Most recently, Parsons competed with Team Canada at the 2019 Pan American Games this past summer in Lima, Peru, There, she helped Canada win the first-ever medal in golf with a bronze finish in the team standings. Individually, Parsons finished fifth out of 32 women's golfers with a 72-hole score of 2-over par after rounds of 68-73-75-70. Her opening round 68 gave her the lead after day one and also tied for the low score of the tournament.
Tournament #1 Recap - Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational
The Hoosiers opened the season Sept. 9-10 at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. As a team, Indiana finished in seventh place. Priscilla Schmid tied for second place, finishing 7-under-par. For her efforts, Schmid earned Big Ten Women's Golfer of the Week accolades.
Tournament #2 Recap – East-West Match Play
In the two rounds of stroke play action, the Hoosiers tied for fourth place. Mary Parsons led the way as she tied for third place after shooting 3-under-par. Due to a tiebreaker, the team was awarded the fifth seed for one day of match play. The Hoosiers defeated Iowa, 4-1-0 in the lone match play round.
Tournament #3 Recap – Illini Women's Invitational at Medinah
The Hoosiers finished 10th at Medinah on Oct. 7-8. IU was led by Parsons, who tied for 34th and carded a pair of par-72 rounds. Schmid also had a standout performance as she saved the best for last, posting a 2-under-par 70 in the final round.
Tournament #4 Recap – The Landfall Tradition
The Hoosiers ended the fall slate with Schmid earning her first-ever first-place finish, carding an impressive 7-under-par. Her three-round score of 209 matched her career best, set in the season-opening Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational. As a team, the Hoosiers earned another top-10 finish, coming in at seventh.
Tournament #5 Recap – Lady Puerto Rico Classic
Indiana opened its spring schedule Feb. 9-11 in the Lady Puerto Rico Classic. Eisenhut led the way, earning a sixth-place finish a carding a career-best 69 on the final day. The Hoosiers moved up three spots on the final day to finish tied for 12th.
Tournament #6 Recap – Westbrook Invitational
The Hoosiers saw another impressive outing from Eisenhut, as she led the lineup with a T19 finish. The freshman carded a career-best 68 on the final round.
