OPENING TIP
Indiana University is in its 120th season of competition in men's basketball and will close out the regular season on Senior Day against Wisconsin. De'Ron Davis and Devonte Green, both four-year letterwinners, are among those being honored. The Hoosiers are tied for 6th in the country with 5 wins over nationally ranked teams (Florida State, Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa, Penn State).

THE COACHES
Indiana Coach Archie Miller is in his third season of guiding the Cream and Crimson. He is 193-105 in eight-plus years as a head coach, which includes six years at the University of Dayton. His Flyer teams made NCAA Tournament appearances in each of his last four seasons, including a trip to the Elite Eight in 2014. He is 54-42 at IU. Greg Gard is 100-57 in 5 seasons with the Badgers.

Freshman Trayce Jackson-Davis had his 4th double-double in 5 games and has averaged 15.2 points and 10.2 rebounds in that time. He had 18 points and 10 boards against Minnesota. He is averaging a team-best 13.9 points and 8.1 rebounds. He is just one of four freshman nationally (Vernon Carey, Jr. - Duke, Zeke Nnaji - Arizona and Isiah Stewart - Washington) to lead his team in scoring, rebounds, field goal percentage, free throws made and free throws attempted and blocked shots. In the Big Ten, Jackson-Davis is the top freshman scorer overall (13.9) and in conference games (13.2). He also leads in overall and conference play in field goal percentage (57.8 and 53.4) and blocked shots (1.8 and 1.7), He is second overall and in league games in rebounding (8.1 and 7.8). He is 7th in the B1G in rebounding, 2nd in field goal percentage and 8th in blocked shots.
Graduate transfer Joey Brunk had his first double-digit scoring effort in 10 games when he finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds against Minnesota. Junior Aljami Durham is 2nd on the team with 75 assists and had 11 points and 4 assists against Wisconsin. He has shot 46.2% from long range in the last 5 games. Sophomore Rob Phinisee, leads the team with 79 assists and had 11 points, 5 boards and 5 assists against Minnesota. He is averaging 10.5 points in his last 2 games. Senior Devonte Green is averaging 10.6 ppg., and currently ranks 56th on the school's all-time scoring list (926 points).
