Balanced Scoring Lifts Hoosiers To Perfect Hoosier Invite

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.– With 10 different players scoring for Indiana Water Polo on Sunday, the Hoosiers finished the Hoosier Invite, 3-0, by beating McKendree, 18-6. The win gives the Hoosiers a 10-game win streak, which is the longest since the 2017 season when the Hoosiers won 12 straight.
Two freshman led the way in scoring for Indiana as Katherine Hawkins and Lanna Debow both recorded hat tricks, which are a career high for both players. Along with Hawkins and Debow, four other Hoosiers scored two goals including sophomore Tina Doherty, who finished the Hoosier Invite with a team-high 12 goals. Freshman Berta Pascual also added an assist, which gave her a team-high seven over the three games played in the Invite.
