How are you interacting with your teammates?
We have daily Zoom team meetings and I talk to my teammates through text, FaceTime, GroupMe, and Snapchat.
What advice would you give your fellow Hoosiers during this time?
Stay positive and find new ways to stay busy! Read a book, take your dog for a walk, and just appreciate the extra time we get to spend with family because busy everyday life will be back before we know it.
What are you most looking forward to when you get back on the field/court/course?
I miss being able to practice together with my team every day and I am excited to get back out on the water together. The unexpected early end to our season really put into perspective the amazing opportunity we have to get to race down the course together. I miss my teammates, coaches, and staff and I cannot wait to be back with everyone again soon!
How has the adjustment gone to online classes?
Moving to online classes has definitely been an adjustment but all of my professors have been very accommodating and have worked extremely hard to make this transition as seamless as possible. By sticking to a schedule, I have been able to stay on top of my assignments even without having in-person classes.
What gives you encouragement and motivation during this time?
My teammates, family, friends, and coaches have all helped me stay positive and motivated to make the best of this situation!
