Sparrow Named Indiana Big Ten Sportsmanship Award Winner

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana men's golf's Jack Sparrow earned the team's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award, the conference office announced on Monday.
The Sportsmanship Award is given to students who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. In addition, the students must be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.
Sparrow earned a pair of top-25 finishes this year for the Hoosiers, including a season-best T12 placement at the Marquette Intercollegiate. Sparrow concluded a six-year run with the program with the best average of his career - 74.50.
