The 2019-20 Season
Last year before the spring season got cut short, the Hoosiers finished with an 8-3 record and 1-0 mark in Big Ten play. The team finished on a five-match win streak. Those wins included a 4-3 win over Notre Dame, a 5-2 win over No. 25 Dartmouth and beating Purdue for the fourth straight time.
The Hoosiers were ranked No. 37 in the country at the end of the season. Off the court the team exceled in the classroom as they earned the Herbert Cup for highest team GPA in IU Athletics. The team had seven student-athletes earn Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honors, which requires at least a 3.7 GPA.

The Hoosiers had four players record 12 singles wins on the season. Luka Vukovic went 12-4, including going 8-2 in his final 10 matches of the season. Bennett Crane posted a 5-2 mark in dual matches on the way to All-Big Ten honors. In doubles Crane teamed with Zac Brodney to record a 10-3 doubles record, including 8-2 in dual matches. Carson Haskins and William Piekarsky also finished 10-3 in doubles and won five of their seven doubles matches in dual match play.
