
IUTF Closes Out Regular Season By Hosting Big Ten Open

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Track & Field will close out its regular season on Saturday, Feb. 20 when they host in-state rival Purdue. The meet is slated to begin at 12 p.m. inside Gladstein Fieldhouse.

Last Time Out: B1G SPIRE Invitational
It was a weekend full of personal records for the Hoosiers at the B1G SPIRE Invitational this past weekend. 12 set personal bests at the two-day meet. All three runners in the 600m set a personal record, Maria Anderson (1:31.74), Shynae Deas (1:32.04), and Maddie Russin (1:36.71). Anderson's time also aided her to the victory in the event. Morgan Snow garnered a personal best in the 200m with a time of 24.88. Bailey Hertenstein (9:19.86), Abi Little (9:42.45), Mikaela Ramirez (9:43.79), and Maddie Dalton (9:46.17) raced to their personal records in the 3000m. Hertenstein was the event winner. On the men's side, Micah Camble set another personal record in the 600m after capturing a time of 1:20.05. Nick Couyoumjian ran the 800m where he clocked a time of 1:51.86 to earn a new personal record. Two had personal best in the 5000m, Skylar Stidam (14:24.05) and Ben Miller (14:41.20).
Last Time Out: Hawkeye B1G Invitational
The jumpers and pole vaulters headed to Iowa this past weekend for the Hawkeye B1G Invitational. Nathan Stone and Brock Mammoser took gold and bronze, respectively, in the pole vault. Stone cleared a height of 5.40m (17' 8.5") while Mammoser saw a season best of 5.30m (17' 4.5"). Dom Day set a personal record in the long jump with a mark of 7.25m (23' 9.5").
RANKED
The men's squad moved up another spot to No. 20 in the USTFCCCA National Rankings while the women remain unranked.
The women hold the top spot in the Great Lakes Region while the men's team sits No. 2 behind Michigan.
NCAA Marks
Through four weekends of competition, 9 Hoosiers and two relays have top-25 marks in the NCAA.
