Indiana Wins First Match of Season in Dramatic Fashion

BLOOMINGTON, Ind– It took some late-match heroics, but the Indiana women's tennis team finished off the weekend with a 4-3 victory over Michigan State on Sunday afternoon.

The Hoosiers got on the board with victories from Michelle McKamey and Mila Mejic at No. 5 and No. 6 singles respectively.

Laura Masic recorded her second straight victory with a three-set victory at No. 1 singles to tie the match at 3-3.

With the match on the line, Annabelle Andrinopoulos came back from down in the third set to secure IU's first win of the season.

The Hoosiers are back on the road next weekend as they travel to Iowa City on Friday afternoon for a match with the Hawkeyes.
