"We as a team have not raced since the spring of 2019-20 when our season was canceled last year, just before for we were leaving for this same regatta. I believe we may have been the only team last year who didn't get a single chance to compete. Everyone is very excited to get the opportunity to get back to doing what we love to do. We will get the opportunity to race against some other very good schools inside the Big Ten Conference as well as several schools outside of our conference," Peterson said, who begins his 18th season with the Hoosiers in 2020-21. "This weekend should give us a clear understanding of where we are at as a team and what we need to do moving forward as we focus on our goals for the Big Ten Championships and beyond."
