
IUFH Late Attack Not Enough In Loss To Northwestern

EVANSTON, Ill. – Indiana Field Hockey (0-6, 0-6 Big Ten) ended the weekend with a second contest at Northwestern (5-1, 5-1 Big Ten). The Hoosiers would try to battle back but fell 4-0 to the Wildcats.
KEY MOMENTS
• Northwestern took the first shot of the contest, but Emma Martin came up with a defensive save to keep the contest scoreless.
• The Wildcats got another shot off in the first period and Shannon McNally was able to save it for her first of the afternoon.
• Earning the first corner, Northwestern scored their first goal to go up 1-0.
• Getting the final goal of the first were the Wildcats who were out to a 2-0 lead as the buzzer rang.
