EVANSTON, Ill. – Indiana Field Hockey (0-6, 0-6 Big Ten) ended the weekend with a second contest at Northwestern (5-1, 5-1 Big Ten). The Hoosiers would try to battle back but fell 4-0 to the Wildcats.

KEY MOMENTS
• Northwestern took the first shot of the contest, but Emma Martin came up with a defensive save to keep the contest scoreless.
• The Wildcats got another shot off in the first period and Shannon McNally was able to save it for her first of the afternoon.
• Earning the first corner, Northwestern scored their first goal to go up 1-0.
• Getting the final goal of the first were the Wildcats who were out to a 2-0 lead as the buzzer rang.
• Indiana got their first pair of shots in the second period. Peyton Becker took the shot but it was saved by the Northwestern keeper. Mary Kate Kesler received the second shot but it went wide of the cage.
• The Wildcats tacked on one more in the second and took a 3-0 lead into halftime.
• The Hoosiers got one in the penalty corner column during the third period. Emma Martin inserted the ball but Indiana couldn't get anything going.
• Northwestern got their final goal of the contest in the fourth and went up 4-0.
• Indiana got back-to-back corners that produced shots from Kesler and Sophie GIltrap. Kelser's was saved while Giltrap was off target.
• The Wildcats would go on to get the victory, 4-0.

• Sophie Giltrap took her third career shot in the match against the Wildcats.
• Mary Kate Kesler led the team in shots with two.
• Peyton Becker, GIltrap, and Mary Kate Kesler had shot for Indiana.
• Shannon McNally recorded a season and career high 15 saves on Sunday afternoon.
