
No. 9 Indiana to Play Rutgers on Friday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 9-ranked Indiana Hoosiers (4-1-0) will head out east to take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (3-3-0) at Yurcak Field in Piscataway, N.J. First kick is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET with a stream being provided on BTN+.

NEWS AND NOTES
• Sophomore midfielder Brett Bebej was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, while sophomore keeper Roman Celentano claimed Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week.
• Indiana took over sole possession of first place in the Big Ten Conference standings after defeating Michigan State, 2-1, on Monday evening. IU sits atop the standings with 12 points, while Michigan and Ohio State each have 10 points this season.
• Redshirt senior defender Spencer Glass leads the conference in assists this season with five. He is the program's career active leader in helpers with 21.
• In the program's last 41 Big Ten regular season matches Indiana holds a record of 30-2-9.
LAST TIME OUT
• Indiana hits New Jersey winners of two-straight matches after scoring two goals in the final 30 minutes of play to defeat the Michigan State Spartans (2-4-0) by a score of 2-1. Sophomore forward Victor Bezerra scored the equalizer in the 62nd minute before redshirt sophomore defender Daniel Munie found the winner in the 88th minute.
• The goal scored by Munie was his second of the season. It also marked the latest game-winning mark scored by a Hoosier since Jack Maher downed Maryland in the 103rd minute of the 2019 Big Ten Championships semifinal matchup on Nov. 15.
• Celentano posted his fourth win of the season (14th of his career) after recording one save and yielding just his second tally of the season.
