No. 13 Hoosiers Fall at No. 2 Stanford, 15-5

PALO ALTO, Calif. – The No. 13-ranked Indiana University water polo team fell at No. 2 Stanford, 15-5, on Sunday morning at the Avery Aquatic Center in Palo Alto, Calif.
With the loss, Indiana falls to 8-6 on the season and to 0-2 in MPSF conference play. The Cardinal improve to 5-1 on the year and to 3-1 in league action.
KEY MOMENTS
• Junior Tina Doherty and classmate Izzy Mandema led the Hoosiers with two goals each against the Cardinal.
• Also scoring a goal for IU in the setback was sophomore Katherine Hawkins, who also added a pair of steals.
• Sophomore Lanna Debow had two assists and a steal, while freshman Kallie White had an assist and a steal.
• Sophomore Zoe Crouch also recorded an assist.
• In goal, junior Mary Askew made nine saves and had three steals.

• Indiana falls to 0-11 all-time against Stanford.
