
IUTF Completes Day One of Big Ten Indiana Invite No. 1

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Track & Field completed the first day of the Big Ten Indiana Invite No. 1 on Friday night.
Nathan Stone highlighted the night with a personal best mark of 5.45m (17' 10.5) which was good enough to tie for first. Brock Mammoser took bronze, clearing a mark of 5.15m (16' 10.75"). Anna Watson won the pole vault after clearing a height of 4.20m (13' 9.25").
Hope Purcell returned to the win column in the high jump with a clearance of 1.70m (5' 7"). Mahogany Jenkins picked up fourth with a mark of 1.66m (5' 5.25"). On the men's side, Jyles Etienne picked up the win and cleared a height of 1.99m (6' 6.25").
The Hoosiers will return to action on Saturday, Mar. 27 for the final day of the Big Ten Indiana Invite #1. Action is slated to begin at 11 a.m. with the hammer throw.
