Indiana Falls Late to Maryland

BLOOMINGTON, Ind– Despite jumping out to a strong start, the Indiana women's tennis team couldn't close out Sunday's match against Maryland.
The 4-3 loss to the Terrapins dropped IU to 1-12 on the season.
Maryland opened the scoring by taking the doubles point.
Laura Masic continued her big weekend by securing a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles. Sunday's win was her fifth conference victory this season in her freshman campaign.
Jelly Bozovic also went undefeated this weekend by taking a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 4 singles. This win also marked her fifth conference victory of the season.
Alexandra Staiculescu took a 6-3, 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles. That earned her a sixth conference victory for the season, the most on the team.
The Hoosiers get next weekend off before returning to action on April 9th at home against Northwestern.
