No. 14 Indiana Suffers 11-6 Setback at No. 4 Arizona State

TEMPE, Ariz. – The No. 14-ranked Indiana University water polo team dropped a hard-fought game at No. 4 Arizona State, 11-6, on Sunday morning in Tempe, Ariz.
With the loss, the Hoosiers fall to 8-8 on the season overall and to 0-4 in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) conference play. The Sun Devils improve to 11-4 on the year and to 5-1 in league action.
KEY MOMENTS
• Junior Izzy Mandema led the Hoosier scoring effort with a pair of goals to go with an assist, while sophomore Zoe Crouch totaled one goal, two assists and a team-best four steals.
• Both junior Tina Doherty and freshman Kallie White had a goal and an assist in the contest.
• Sophomore Lanna Debow also scored for IU.
• In goal, junior Mary Askew made nine saves and also had a pair of steals.
NOTABLES
• Crouch's four steals are a career-best.
• Arizona State improves to 14-3 in the all-time series.
