EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michelle McKamey and Mila Mejic won singles matches for Indiana, but the Spartans took a 5-2 victory on Sunday.

Michigan State won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to win the doubles point and build a 1-0 lead in the match.

The Spartans won the first two singles matches to go up 3-0, but Indiana responded with wins at No. 5 and No. 6 to pull within one at 3-2.

Michigan State would clinch the match with a win at No. 2 singles and add another point at No. 1 singles.

Up next the Hoosiers (1-14) host Purdue on April 18.
