BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The fourth week of action commences this weekend as Indiana Track & Field will split up to compete at two meets. A group will travel south to Prairie View, Texas where they will participate in the Husker Big Ten Invite on Apr. 16 and 17. A group will also remain in Bloomington to host the one day Big Ten Indiana Invite No. 3 on Friday, Apr. 16.

With the third outdoor meet being moved a one-day meet and two lightning delays, the Hoosiers walked away with 11 individual wins. Alyssa Robinson ran a new event and clocked a time of 54.11 to place first in the 400m. Shaton Vaughn improved on his personal best and won the 400m hurdles in a time of 51.28. Jake Gebhardt ran his first 3000m steeplechase in an Indiana uniform. Gebhardt got the victory in a time of 9:15.66. A late night 3000m saw Mikaela Ramirez capture the top prize with a time of 9:48.37. Ben Miller won his first career 10K in which he crossed in a time of 30:06.27. Nolan Landis picked up the win in the discus with a throw of 52.12m (171' 0") while Maddy Pollard won the shot put and notched a mark of 17.01m (56' 0"). Nathan Stone took home the gold medal in the pole vault after clearing a height of 5.30m (17' 4.5"). Jyles Etienne bounced back in the high jump with a win and a mark of 2.03m (6' 8"). Leah Moran won her third straight long jump competition by soaring a distance of 6.16m (20' 2.5").
