Gabbi Jenkins Named Big Ten Co-Player of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – After a weekend in which she batted .714 to help the Hoosiers win three of four from Ohio State, senior Gabbi Jenkins has been named Big Ten Co-Player of the Week the conference announced today.
Jenkins hit .714 in the series with 10 hits in 14 at bats and tallied five runs and six RBI.
Jenkins had a .750 on base percentage and stole two bases to increase her career record total to 93 stolen bases.
In the 8-0 win over Ohio State on April 17, Jenkins went 3-4 at the plate with a pair of doubles and five RBI.
Jenkins and the Hoosiers travel to Illinois this week for four game against the Fighting Illini.
