MAINEVILLE, Ohio – Indiana Women's Golf opened play in the 2021 Big Ten Championship on Friday, playing round one at TPC River's Bend. Senior Mary Parsons is currently pacing the Hoosiers as she carded a 76 to end the day tied for 43^rd place.

• The Hoosiers started play on the No. 10 tee.

• Every Big Ten school besides Ohio State is participating in the event.

• Parsons was 4-over on the day, collecting a pair of birdies. She put together a string of six straight holes on the back nine where she either parred or birdied each one.

• Sophomore Valerie Clancy is tied for 52^nd place with a 5-over-par 77. She was strongest on the back nine where she carded a pair of birdies and made the turn at 2-over.

• Freshman Morgan Dabagia is in 74^th place after shooting an 83. She did collect a team-high three birdies on the day.

• Senior Angela Aung and junior Maddie Dittoe are both tied for 75^th after carding an 84. Dittoe picked up a birdie on No. 7. Sophomore Hanna Tanaka rounds out the Hoosier lineup in 78^th as she shot an 85.
