Hoosiers Edged by Minnesota in Big Ten Tournament

MADISON, Wis. – The Indiana women's tennis team was defeated 4-3 against Minnesota on Wednesday in the Big Ten Tournament.

The doubles point was tightly contested with Indiana and Minnesota each splitting the first two completed matches. The point came down to No. 1 doubles, where Minnesota won, 7-5.

After falling behind 3-0 in the match, Indiana fought back to tie it 3-3. Alexandra Staiculescu won her ninth singles match of the season with a three set victory at No. 3 singles.

Jelly Bozovic rebounded after dropping her second set and won her match in the third set. Annabelle Andrinopoulos won in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4.
